The NDSU Impact Fund helps meet the University's emerging needs by providing support for projects, technology, programs, and opportunities that strengthen the NDSU experience. These flexible dollars allow NDSU to respond where support is needed most and make a lasting difference for students, faculty, and the entire campus community.

Here are a few examples of initiatives that have received funding via the Impact Fund:

• Veterinary Technology Program upgraded from film-based to digital radiography technology, enhancing student safety and providing hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment.
• Division of Performing Arts installed modern lighting technology in Festival Concert Hall, giving students experience with professional-grade theatre equipment.
• Business Learning Center expanded research resources for students and faculty in the College of Business, strengthening scholarly research opportunities.
• Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering established an advanced 3D printing laboratory, creating new opportunities for hands-on learning and national competition participation.
